When you start waking up in the morning and realizing that you are lucky to have another day of life and learn to appreciate it then your on the right track. Thank God and feel blessed for having another opportunity and it wouldn't hurt you for saying thanks for the new day. If you don't believe in God then at least appreciate the chance to live when so many others have perished.
Being positive even if you have to force yourself to do so will eventually become a natural everyday part of life. When you start thinking more positively you will automatically be happier and will start to learn that happiness comes from within. Happiness is not a paycheck, its not a partner or children, True happiness is how you feel inside.
You need to learn to not allow the outside world to change that and by doing so the stress will slowly vanish from your life. Their are many qualities that comes with being positive and you will discover them as you slowly rid yourself of anxiety and panic attacks.
